History of the Menú del Día

Vadebaco Menu of the Day

It’s one of the most unmistakable symbols of the Spanish lunch. Found in the humblest of bars, or the most elegant of restaurants. Enjoyed by those looking to fill up on a budget, by those seeking a relatively quick bite, but in need of more than a sandwich, or by those who simply enjoy a good deal when they see one.  Yes, I’m referring to the beloved menú del día.

For the background on Spain’s menu of the day, as well as suggestions on where to go for your own menú experience, check out the full article written up for the magazine Vaya Madrid.

Enjoy!
